Around here, we love our cocktails so it’s always five o’clock somewhere. We’re usually partial to whiskey sours, but today we’re mixing up another beloved sour — a Gimlet, the ultimate gin sour (or the original gin and juice).
Lime is the citrus of choice for this classic sweet tart cocktail and it is as simple to make as it is refreshing to drink. Just three ingredients shaken together, and you’re ready to sip. The drink is typically made with Rose’s Lime Juice, but we like using equal parts of fresh lime juice and simple syrup.
- 3 ounces London Dry Gin
- 1 ounce Lime juice
- 1 ounce Simple syrup
- 1 Lime round or wedge for garnish
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lime round or wedge.
